Condohotel Staybridge Suites® owned by Intercontinental Hotels Group® with the construction of success for next year

Apartments belonging to the international network of condohotels Staybridge Suites®, a brand belonging to InterContinental Hotels Group®, are being built in Warsaw’s Ursynów district at the junction of Pileckiego and Puławska streets. This is the 15th Staybridge Suites property in Europe. Facilities already operate in London and St. Petersburg, as well as in The Hague, the Netherlands, among others. InterContinental Hotels Group is one of the largest hotel chains in the world. Its success is created, among others, by the 110 million customers in the loyalty programme who use the hotels within the group of the renowned operator.

In Poland the debut of Staybridge Suites brand – including the opening of a facility in Warsaw – is planned for next year by WIK Capital – a franchisee of Intercontinental Hotels Group.

The hotel will offer 193 rooms of 20-60 sqm. Spacious studios and one- and two-bedroom flats with kitchenettes will be available.

“At Staybridge Suites, we are implementing many solutions designed for the comfort of guests and residents. We are committed to ensuring that guests – in line with the mission of the internationally respected InterContinental Hotels Group – feel at home when living away from home. The spaces have been designed to create a friendly atmosphere. There will be, among other things, a coworking area, a restaurant, a shop and even a laundry room. Kitchens will be equipped with high quality everyday appliances, rooms will be prepared in the freshest trends related to interior design. All residents will be able to enjoy the amenities and attractions available in the four-star condohotel category,” says Aleksander Kupcewicz, partner at WIK Capital, a company that implements Staybridge Suites on the Polish market, providing comprehensive services connected with the implementation of hotel and condohotel projects.

Guests of the condohotel can take advantage of two types of lease: short- or long-term. Staybridge Suites® is a good choice for tourists and business travelers as well as for all those who plan a longer stay in the city.

The proximity of Chopin Airport, a 15-minute drive away, as well as popular tourist attractions such as Kabaty Forest, Natolin Palace and Park Complex or the famous Służewiec Race Track, are unquestionable assets that make people decide to stay here.

Although the opening of the facility is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2022, more than half of the flats have already been sold.

Investors, deciding to buy premises in a condohotel, are looking for safe forms of investment. It is common practice to move their capital from the stock market or bank deposits to the real estate market, which is currently considered to be more stable in Poland. Today’s trends also favour investing in condohotels.

“Poles are looking for profitable, yet safe investments. Investing in a condohotel meets both these conditions. The investor can count on a stable rental profit, and additionally has more comfort than when engaging in traditional flat rental. The advantage of a condohotel is the fact that the owners of flats do not have to engage in their current management – the whole process of property rental is the responsibility of the management company – in this case WIK Capital. This argument convinces many who want to avoid the risks that accompany running a rental on their own,” says Aleksander Kupcewicz.

“We notice a steady increase in the popularity of investing in condohotels. The sales dynamics of our flats has exceeded our initial expectations. As an investor, we are convinced that this market will enjoy increasing interest, directly proportional to the growing awareness of the operation of such facilities in Poland,” – Aleksander Kupcewicz adds.
