Łukasz Machowski – A Champion Partnership with Luxury Boutique

We are proud and happy to announce that Luxury Boutique magazine has entered into a partnership with Łukasz Machowski, an award-winning regatta sailor and coach at the Foiling Academy.

This season, Luxury Boutique will accompany Łukasz during the most important regattas in this year’s calendar:

• 22–23 March: opening regatta of the season in Sardinia,
• 5–7 June: Switch Act 2 regatta in Torbole (Lago di Garda, Italy),
• September: Switch World Championship.

Łukasz Machowski

He made his mark on the sporting scene in 2016, racing for MKS Dwójka Warsaw (PL). He won the Gdynia City Cup in the preparatory Laser 4.7 class (now ILCA 4), while also winning the under-16 and under-18 categories. Two years later, in 2018, he became Polish Champion in the Laser Radial class (now ILCA 6). This period solidified his tactical skills and allowed him to progress to the more demanding Olympic classes.

Łukasz, in the crew with Tytus Butowski, achieved impressive results in the two-man Olympic 49er class:

• 2021: won the title of Junior World Champion (U21) during the Gdynia Sailing Days regatta,
• 2022: won the Polish Junior Championship and a bronze medal in the general classification of the Polish Senior Championship,
• 2023: he became the Polish Senior Vice-Champion in the 49er class.

Since 2021, he has also been building his position in hydrofoil sailing (foiling), where he started in the technical Moth class, winning the Polish Championship in 2025. Łukasz is the founder and head coach of the Foiling Academy project, the first school in Poland dedicated to training on “flying” boats, where he combines the role of competitor with educating the next generation of sailors.
